Der Zauber der Erschöpfung und die Lust am Wagnis

A shared commitment to sustainability and solidarity

L’Eroica has always promoted values that inspire new generations, with a strong focus on environmental protection and sustainability. This commitment is shared by partners such as Roy Roger’s, the historic Italian denim brand, which supports the event with a project based on circular economy principles and respect for the environment.

The world of Eroica is already, by nature, an example of circular economy: from vintage bicycles to clothing, every detail tells a story of reuse, recovery, and care for the territory, combining tradition and sustainability.

The official race bibs of the 28th edition

For 2025, Roy Roger’s is producing the official race bibs included in the race kit that every participant will receive upon registration. The bibs are made of recycled denim, a regenerated secondary raw material aimed at reducing environmental impact.

The race numbers are printed using eco-friendly inks, confirming the sustainable philosophy of the brand, which has been active since 1949 in Campi Bisenzio (Florence). This is a tangible sign of how Roy Roger’s continues to promote responsible choices aligned with Eroica’s values.

The race kit can be collected starting Thursday, October 2, at the L’Eroica Village.

Solidarity: Fondazione Meyer

As every year, Roy Roger’s pairs its project with a non-profit organization. For the 28th edition, the partner is the Fondazione dell’Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer , which will have a dedicated space in the village for fundraising.

The goal is to engage all participants, cyclists and visitors alike, to support the Play Therapy project for Meyer’s children.

You can donate directly or create your own fundraiser by connecting with Fondazione Meyer – Eroica for Meyer.

Furthermore, during the event, Meyer’s young patients will create “heroic” banners with encouraging messages for the cyclists. These panels will be displayed throughout the village, contributing to the festive atmosphere all the way to the finish line.

A small gesture for a great goal

Thanks to Roy Roger’s and Fondazione Meyer, the 28th edition of L’Eroica becomes not only heroic cycling but also an opportunity to make a difference through responsible choices and concrete solidarity.
