V Edition of Accademia Eroica: The training project for the sports professionals of the future
What is Accademia Eroica?
Eroica Academy is a free educational program promoted and supported by Eroica Italia, created with the goal of sharing L’Eroica’s values and message within the training paths of future sports managers and sports communication professionals.
Each year, 10 young talents are selected to take part in a unique experience: hands-on training, behind the scenes, on how to organize an international event that combines passion, culture, territory, and sport.
2025 Theme – Sustainability and Green Jobs
The 2025 edition will focus on a highly relevant topic: “Sustainability and Green Jobs in the Sports World”
Thanks to the collaboration with the Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Enegretica (MASE) and the Dipende Da Noi project — an institutional platform dedicated to raising awareness on environmental issues — participants will explore:
- Best practices for making an event truly sustainable
- Green management strategies applied to the sports sector
- New professions related to sustainability and the environmental impact of sporting events
Hands-on experience
The 10 selected participants, after completing online training with project coordinator and instructor Alessandra Ortenzi, will arrive in Gaiole in Chianti on October 1, 2025, for an on-site training program that will culminate during the 28th edition of L’Eroica (October 4–5, 2025).
Throughout the event, participants will be an integral part of the “heroic team”, experiencing from the inside what it takes to organize an international sports event and actively contributing to its activities.

Eroica Academy is more than just a course; it’s an experience that weaves together education, practice, and values.
An opportunity for young people to grow as professionals and conscious citizens, with an eye toward the future of sport and sustainability.
