The short course is for riders who want to participate in Eroica for the first time. It is a course where you can test your leg strength while being a short distance.
Start in front of the old Kusa-Karu Electric Railway station building in Kita Karuizawa, descend toward Naganohara, and cross the Okuwa intersection in the Okuwa district.
Enter Prefectural Road No.241 and descend toward Tsumagoi.
After passing beautiful Jorinji Temple, turn left and enter prefectural road No.235 to return to the starting point.
