As you know, the global situation regarding the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic is constantly evolving. We, at Eroica Japan, have been carefully considering the possibility of holding our event, scheduled for 31 May. As ours is a sporting event that takes place outdoors, there are fewer risks of infection, but the Eroica Japan programme also includes several food stops, the pre-race dinner, the Eroica market and various seminars. Therefore, it is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of the 2020 edition of Eroica Japan, in order to guarantee the safety, not only of participants but also of our collaborators and all the precious volunteers who support the event. It was a difficult decision, but we hope that you understand and that the emergency situation will end as soon as possible. We are already looking forward to welcoming you to the next wonderful edition of Eroica Japan in 2021, where friends from Japan and all over the world can meet again in Kita-Karuizawa, united in their love of cycling.
